She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Alwood and Frances B. Alwood; and her siblings, Bertha Lane, Polly Alwood, William, John, Claude and Joe Alwood.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Monkman; her children, Richard Monkman (Ladonna), William Monkman, Mike Monkman (Lisa), Barbara Harding (Lee) and Christina Burnham (Keith); her grandchildren, James Davis (Cassie), Michael Monkman, Ricky Monkman (Jessica), Makaela Johnson (Jarelle), Allen DeLacey (Chrissy), Zachary Burnham and Brock Burnham; her great grandchildren, Carter Bell, Jillian Monkman, Oliver Monkman and Jerzey Johnson; and her siblings, Dorothy Sutton (Art) and Charles Alwood (Poge). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
