He was predeceased by: his parents, Lesteen Turner, Sr. (McGhee) and Jesse Turner Sr.; his former wife Delsie Turner (Sutton); his daughter Debra Queen; and his granddaughters, Augusta Turner and Danielle Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Turner (Kindle); his daughters, Sherry Turner, Tiffany Benson (Fred) and Jennifer Edwards (Jason); his stepdaughters, Neesha Sherrill (Dwuan), Christi Anderson (Matt) and Nikki Reed; and his siblings, McVey Turner, Lloyd Turner (Pearl), Charles Turner (Sandra), Ernest Turner, Helen Dawson, Betty Lou Womack, Irma Hall, Grace Turner and Gwen Merriweather. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
