It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeff Winding (Metropolis, Illinois), who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy Todd Winding; and his grandparents, James Lowell Sr., Loraine Winding, Vernon Morris "Sam" and Hazel Lauderdale.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Winding; his parents, James Lowell Winding Jr. (Pansy) and Janice Hemphill; his children, Candi Winding Coder (Zack), Niki Winding, Jessica Baxter, Jonni Thomas and Bobby Mathis; his grandchildren, Dean Coder, Grace Coder, Skyler Baxter, Harley Baxter, Anthony Mathis, Elyjah Mathis, Remmy Mathis and Aiden Fowler; his siblings, Scott Winding (Paula), Carol Hopkins, Tammy Wilson (Tadge) and Stacy Parrett (Bryan); and his nieces and nephews, Dustin Todd Winding, Chance A. Light, Zack Winding, Leslie Winding, Brittani Harrington, Emilee Frilling, Michelle Harrington, Justin Ellis, Rowan Parrett, Mason Parrett and Alexis Harrington. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
