She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dr. Robert D. Korte and John H. Easley; her parents, Lindell W. Sturgis and Viola J. Sturgis; her sister Sue Sturgis Wetherington; and her brother-in-law Milton E. Wetherington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Pfeffer (Philip) and Janet Korte Baker; her grandchildren, John-Lindell (Pfeffer), Jamie (Pfeffer), David (Pfeffer), Courtney Baker and Whitney Baker; her great grandchildren, Philip, Tomás, Ella Pfeffer of London, UK, Ron, Caroline, William, Lindell Pfeffer of Nashville, TN, James and Paige Pfeffer of Palo Alto, CA; her nephew Milton Sturgis Wetherington (Susan); her daughter Laura Chacon of Highlands Ranch, CO; her niece Carol Wetherington Holloway of Sandy Springs, GA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan (David), Kuder of Smyrna, GA, Kara (Matt) and Ross of Atlanta, GA; her cousins, Irene Graman of Metropolis, IL, Mary Ann Leonard of Seattle, WA and Bill Leonard of Paducah, KY; and her daughter Pam.
