She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Dorothy Alexander Herndon; and her brother Louis Herndon. She is survived by: her husband Ron E. Dowell; her daughter LeAndrea Hampton (Chris) of Paducah; her grandchildren, Knox and Livi Hampton; and her father Paul Edward Herndon.
