He is survived by: his children, James Pratte, Jr. (Vickie) of Metropolis, IL, Michael Pratte (Joi) of Flower Mound, TX, Sheila Graves (Harley) of Kevil, KY and Cindy Walker (David) of Paducah, KY; his stepson Chris Weideman (Donna) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Stephanie Pratte of Denton, TX, James D. Pratte of Carrollton, TX and Wes Graves of Houston, TX; his stepgrandsons, Caleb, Xavier and Tyler Weideman; his great grandchildren, Esteban Ceylaya, Alexis Ceylaya, Mason Pratte and Emerson Pratte; and his sister LaWanna Miller of Jefferson City, MO..
