He was predeceased by: his parent Buddie; and his siblings, Faye Draffen, Mary Hornback, Rhonda Peck, Linda Pennington, Norma Cavitt, Loyd, Stevie Johnston and Jerry Johnston.
He is survived by: his sons, James A. Johnston (Brandi) and Steven Johnston (Lisa); his grandchildren, Trevor, Serenity, Kendra, David, Taryn, Brantley, Dalis and Ireland; and his siblings, Cathy Darnell, Vickie Hall and Phillip Johnston. He is also survived by several other grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
