It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Gowins (Metropolis, Illinois), born in Wickliffe, Kentucky, who passed away on September 26, 2018, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Watwood and Eva Watwood; her siblings, Margaret Knowles, Clara Gerde and Robert Watwood; her children-in-law, Bob Stewart and Barbara Gowins; and her grandson Michael Gowins.
She is survived by: her children, David Gowins and Julie Stewart; her grandchildren, Diane Leonard, Clay Stewart (Pam), Jon Stewart (Lisa Dawn), Carolyn Gowins and Laurie Mench; her great grandchildren, Darby Stewart (Chrissy), Lisa Marie Cooper (Matt), Caela Ward (Jeff), Bonner Leonard, Chelsea Stewart, Jeb Stewart, Michaela Gowins, Jason Little, Ryan Little and Sara Neihoff; and her great great grandchildren, Eli Reynolds, Jack Stewart, Ava Stewart, Evelyn Cooper, Emmett Cooper, Lennox Ward, Collette Stewart and Robin Wallace.
