He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Rush and Thelma Rush; and his siblings, Bob, Dan Rush and Mary Alice Rush Cosby.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Metzger Rush; his children, Lee Rush (Kim), Elizabeth Rush Kirksey (Jim), Mary Rush Barger (Jim), Jane Rush (Keith Rogers) and Harry Rush (Lynda); his grandchildren, Aubrey Rush (Heather), Ali Rush, Andrew Kirksey, Cathleen McGamon (Nick), Tadzweil Barger (Lisa), Natasha Ziss, Tyketon Barger (Cynthia), Laura Ann Kidd, Ben Rush and Emily Rush; and his great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Autumn, Allie, Julie Barger, Katelyn, James and Titan Ziss.
