With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary E Gray of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Slim Gray; his son Darin Gray; his mother Mel Gray Davison; his stepfather James Red Davison; and his parents-in-law, Virginia Barnhill Jessing and J. D. Barnhill.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gray; his daughter Heather Deckard (Drew); his grandchildren, Addie Burkhead (Marshall), Kenzie Gray, Sadie Gray, Graycee Deckard and Daniel Deckard; his great grandchild Whitley Burkhead; his pet Bonnie Tate; and his sister Joy Brey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in Gary's name to C.O.P.E., PO Box 761, Metropolis, IL 62960.
