Frederick George Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 93, Frederick George of Metropolis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William George and Luetta George (Bly); his daughter Frances George; and his brother Edward George. He is survived by: his wife Wilma George (Dabbs); his son Frederick Allen George; his grandchildren, Christopher, Lacy (Zach) and Lora; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Joseph, Jada, Jaylin, Logan, Latashia, Deonsay, Trae and Jody; and his siblings, Eugene George (Wanda), Susie Cotton and Shirley Watkins (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
