He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer O. Hammond and Lois F. Hammond (Oglesby); his wife Jean Hammond; and his granddaughter Erin Catherine Ford. He is survived by: his children, Pamela "Penny" Adams (Derek) of Golconda, IL, Rick Hammond (Treva) of Eldorado, IL, Debbie Ford (Fred) of Metropolis, IL, Sandra Gentry (Benny) of Metropolis and Rod Hammond (Dustie) of Brookport; his sisters, Mary Colbert (Terry), Delores Woods (Joe) and Clara Jungles (Gary); and his close friend Maxine. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
