It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Joan Carrell of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Staton and Freda Staton (Henderson); and her brothers, Carl, David, Noel, Duke and Dale Staton.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Carrell; her children, Debbie Loven (Keith), Stanley Oliver, Gary Carrell (Mary) and Tom Carrell (Becky); her grandson Mason Riepe (Susan); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Nathaniel "Nate" and Kinsley Riepe; and her sisters, Susan, Judy, Norma Jean, Rhonda and Linda Lou. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
