With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorla Cartwright of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leamon Stallings and Aleza Stallings (Hunsaker); her husband William Glen Cartwright; and her siblings, Martha Jane Darnell and James Stallings.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Burnett, David Cartwright (Amy) and Sharon Ely (Scott); her grandchildren, Chelsea Crittenden (Matt), Amanda Martin (Bodie), Austin Cartwright and Clayton Ely; and her great grandchildren, Conrad Crittenden, Cora Jane Crittenden, Rodes Martin and William Cartwright Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
