He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shelton and Amy Shelton; and his son James Donald Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Frona Shelton (Anderson); his children, Dr. John Shelton (Cathryn) and Catherine Colyer (Tim); his grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Shelton, Dr. Ethan Shelton, Sean Colyer and Caitlyn Colyer; his great grandchild Beckett; and his sister Mary Jane Story. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
