He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Korte Rottmann; his parents, Allen Rottmann and Magda Rottmann; and his siblings, Alfreda Horman (Paul) and Richard Rottmann (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Bremer (Jeff), Mark Rottmann (Debbie) and Darian Rottmann (Heather); his grandchildren, Caroline Currie (Blaze), Laura Mitchell (Alex), John Bremer (Michaela), Logan Rottmann, Blake Rottmann, Elizabeth Jackson (James), Natalie Rottmann and Gabe Rottmann; and his brother Elgie Rottmann (Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (3464 Old Marion Rd, Metropolis, IL 62960). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
