He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Monica Whalen (Ricky) of Metropolis and Michael Melcher (Jen) of Yorkville, IL; his grandchildren, Sam Godman (Maegan) of Clinton, KY, Karleigh Butler of LaCenter, KY, Justin, Jaden Melcher of Germany, Christian Melcher, Liam, Henry and Cole Schmidt of Yorkville, IL; his great grandchildren, Jack, Scarlett Riley of St. Petersburg, FL, Claire, Amelia and Isaac Godman of Clinton, KY; and his siblings, Linda Lewis (Doyle), Mary Bournda and Bill Melcher (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
