He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Farris and Emma Farris (Stegman); his former wife Mattie Farris; and his brother Robert Eugene Farris. He is survived by: his wife Junie Farris; his stepchildren, Mike Casper (Rhonda), Ron Casper (Melissa), Laura Miller and Tracy McManus (David); his sister Karen Hogue; and his nieces and nephews, Donnie Hogue (Tonya), Tara Sielbeck (Chris), Brittany Schoenherr (Jeffrey), Zack Hogue (Sarah) and Randy Farris (Lori). He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home (70 Jon St, Metropolis, IL 62960). A masonic service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given in Donnie's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
