Dolores Comer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Comer (Metropolis, Illinois), who passed away on June 4, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Stamme and Floie Stamme; her husband Sherman Comer; her daughter Marcie Woods; and her granddaughter Mandy Brinker (Woods).
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Grace (Larry); her son-in-law Mike Woods; her grandchildren, Miles Woods (Des), Marcus Grace (Amy), Lucas Grace (Sarah) and Lyndsay Grace; her brother Gene Stamme; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Sutton (Jim), Dora Fenwick (Wayne) and Marie Comer. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Dolores' name to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Altar Guild PO Box 816 Metropolis, IL 62960.
