He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Clay and Louise Clay. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Sue Ponder; his wife Barbara Clay; his children, Rev. Thomas Clay (Marla) of Tuscumbia, AL, Jennifer Denton (Joe) of West Paducah, KY and Dr. Michael Clay (Melanie) of Pensacola, FL.; and his grandchildren, Emily Clay Franks (Ethan), Aubrey Clay, Jesse Denton, Callie Clay, Carlie Clay, Chloe Clay, Collin Clay, Cole Clay and Emma Jane Clay.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Metropolis, IL.
