David Fitchett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Fitchett of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on October 30, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Shawneen Fitchett; his daughter Maddison Fitchett; his parents, Russell Fitchett and Nancy Fitchett; and his parents-in-law, Forrest J and Mary June Shelene.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Diles-Fitchett of Metropolis, Illinois; his children, Shelene Shrewsbury (Matt) of Mineral Wells, WV, Jordan Ward (Brandon) of Paris, KY, Mackenzie Fitchett of Clarksburg, WV and Matthew Fitchett of Charleston, WV; his grandchildren, Trinity Phillips, Vince Shrewsbury, Bennett, Charlie Ward, Harper and Haiden Hickel; his stepchildren, Christopher Diles (Chelsi) of Vienna, IL and Amber Loverkamp (Marvin) of Sneads Ferry, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Mason Kerley, Brayden Diles, Kadon, Waylon Hill, Adalyn, Evelyn Diles, Kirk and Skylar Loverkamp; and his sisters, Dixie Raab (Andy) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Denise Diepold (Tom) of Baltimore, MD, Diane Buettner (Tom) of Ocean City, MD and Dawn Kottraba (Doug) of Essex, MD. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
