He is survived by: his children, Chris Cowsert (April) of Bethpage, TN and Wendy Cowsert of Metropolis, IL; his siblings, Gene Cowsert (Faye), Carolyn Lasater (Charles), Janice Foster (Deon), James L. Cowsert (Donna), Gary Cowsert (Phyllis), Sandy Carr, Rose Cowsert and Pam Griffith (Dennis); his grandchildren, Dixie, Jewelia (Chris), Sierra, Jasmine (Zach) and Samuel; and his great grandchildren, Wrenly, Lillie, Dawson, Kayden, Alex and Colton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
