Charles Williams Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2024, at the age of 90, Charles Williams of Metropolis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Williams and Lurlean Williams (Henderson); his sons, Gary Williams and Keith Williams; and his brother Randy Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Williams; his daughter Karen Williams Eleam; his grandson William Eleam; and his brothers, Wayman Williams and Stanley Williams (Sherry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
