With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Richard Hogue of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Louise Hogue (Nutter) and Charles Ronald Hogue; his siblings, Judith Ann Hogue and Gordie Minnaert; and his father-in-law John Holt.
He is survived by: his stepmother Jean Hogue; his wife Michelle Hogue (Hein); his stepchildren, Madison Carter, Gabe Carter (Trish) and Iris Sexton; his siblings, Sherry Bryant, Sindy Herreld, Karen McBride, Mike Minnaert and John Bowman; his mother-in-law Brenda Holt; and his close friends, Nicole McCandless, Patricia Cummins, Kelly and Cathe Glass. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be given in Richie's name to the First Baptist Church Building Fund 307 Massac Creek Road, Metropolis, IL 62960.
