He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Mary Wieneke Diekroeger Sr.; his wife Mary Kreklow Diekroeger; and his brothers, Tom Diekroeger and Jerry Diekroeger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sallie Rainey (Bob), Nancy Elliott (Mike) and Susan Seitzinger (Scott); his grandchildren, Lindsay Baldridge (Ben), Sarah Rainey, Matthew Elliott (Brittany), Hanna Elliott, Samuel Elliott, Leah Elliott, Jordan Elliott, Jonathan Seitzinger (Brooke), Daniel Seitzinger and Emily Seitzinger (Peyton); and his great grandchildren, Gage Painter, Colin Baldridge and Avery Elliott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
