He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnie N. Damron and Muriel E. Damron (Cagle); his wife Christine Grace Damron; his son Allan Eugene Damron; and his brother Bobby Damron.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn McRae of Marion, IL, Bonnie Sue Martin of Metropolis, Kathy Mitchell of Metropolis and Stephen Damron (Roberta) of Joppa; and his sister Mary Lou Meinders (Wayne) of Metropolis. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
