With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Wintz of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Emagean Shafer and Edward Corn; her husband James Wintz; and her siblings, Roger Corn and Mary Salmons.
She is survived by: her children, Keisha Wintz (James Lechowicz), Cynthia Klopfenstein and Richard Knoska; her grandchildren, Briana, Kristen, Olyvia, Ezekiel and Zayne; her great grandchildren, Aliza and Abigail; her pet Optimus; her sister Connie Baldwin (Charles); and her nieces and nephews, Melissa (Glendon), Charles, Mark, Seth, Travis, Amber, Heather, Lindsay, Brittany, Abigail, Chase and Carrie Nicely.
