It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Johnson Ragain (Metropolis, Illinois), born in Trenton, Tennessee, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Garfield Smothers and Myrtle Selph Smothers; her husband Charles Ragain; her siblings, Mandy and Don Smothers; and her stepsons, Paul Meyers and Tony Ragain.
She is survived by: her daughter Terry Johnson Fick (Robert); her sister-in-law Nelda Smothers; her stepson Scott Ragain (Martina); and her stepgrandsons, Ben Ragain (Katie), Luke and Nathan Ragain. She is also survived by three step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be given in Bonnie's name to the Hillerman Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
