It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Mathis of Metropolis, Illinois, born in Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul, Kittie Mathis and Billy Hardison. He is survived by: his parents, Terry Mathis and Linda Mathis; his siblings, Melanie Morris (Dustin) of Metropolis, IL, Maegan Sims (Charles) of Canton, NC and Daylon Jackson of Metropolis, IL; his nieces and nephews, Drew Morris and Andy Sims; and his grandmother Jeanette Hendrickson (Bob) of Benton, KY. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
