It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sue Rutherford (Metropolis, Illinois), born in Hardin, Illinois, who passed away on August 2, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Garvin Rutherford; her son Ronald Ray Rutherford; and her brother Tedford. She is survived by: her son Deneen Rutherford (Gayla) of Metropolis; and her grandchildren, Chris Rutherford (Jamie) of Newburgh, Derek Rutherford of Cypress and Crystal Benard (Jim) of Metropolis. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
