She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin McDaniels and Sadie McDaniels; her husband Jack Scarborough; and her granddaughter Melissa Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Johnston (Snooky) of Metropolis, JoAnn Dennis (Robert) of Karnak and Jackie Scarborough of Houma, LA; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor (Christina) of Metropolis, Kimberly Shelton of Metropolis, Jackie Scarborough (Julia) of Metropolis, Jeremy Scarborough of Golconda and Cheslie Solomon (Kevin) of Paducah, KY. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; great granddog, Smokey; several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
