It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Lee Heisner of Metropolis, Illinois, born in Charleston, Missouri, who passed away on September 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E Heisner; her parents, Edgar Griffith and Thelma Spinks Griffith; her brothers, Jerry and Glenn Griffith; and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Heisner.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Monty Heisner (Karen L.) of Reidland, Dr. Terry Heisner (Karen J.) of Metropolis and Robert "Robbie Dale" Heisner of Benton, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Joshua Heisner (Andrea), Heather Heisner (James Funderburk) and Brittney Heisner (Chad Gilham); her stepgrandchildren, Michele Clark (Eric) and Ricky DuPree (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Owen and Kellen Heisner; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Nathan, Gavin Clark, Carly, Beck, Ava Funderburk, Ben, Jamie and Matthew DuPree; and her sister Ruth Lindemann (Hank). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Grand Chain Library or the Grand Chain Cemetery Association.
