With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Kennedy of Metropolis, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Forthman and Bessie Forthman; her husband William Eugene Kennedy; and her siblings, Dorothy Brown, Frank Forthman Sr., Rodger Forthman and Murphy Forthman.
She is survived by: her sons, Joel Kennedy of Paducah and Michael Kennedy (Tina) of Metropolis; her grandchildren, Darrel Kennedy of Metropolis, Travis Kennedy of Metropolis, Joel Kennedy II (Jacklyn) of Paducah, Lasha Kommer (Adam) of Metropolis, Emily Lamar (Devin) of Paducah, Benjamin Kennedy (Holli) of Brookport, Grace Kennedy of Metropolis and Rose Kennedy of Paducah; and her siblings, Betty Bonner, Pearl O'Brien, William Forthman (Dean) and James Forthman (Sandy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Ann's name to New Hope Baptist Church, 6804 New Columbia Road, Belknap, IL 62908.
