Dorothy Jeanne Riggs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2020, at the age of 83, Dorothy Jeanne Riggs of Metcalf, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Burton Joe Riggs; her son Joseph "Joe" Riggs; her mother Gladys Garver (Higginbotham); her sister Grace Louise Garver (Thompson); her son Terry; her daughter-in-law Cathy Riggs of Olney, IL; her grandchildren, Jerry Jacob "JJ" (Adrianna Riggs), Kimberly Dawn (Ryan Pinkston), Bobbi Jo Riggs (Doug Tuttle) and Andrew "Andy" Riggs of West Union, IL; her great grandchildren, Addison Grace Pinkston, Grayson Wesley Pinkston, Jaedlynn Jo Riggs, Jozey Michelle Riggs and Elena Diane Riggs; her pets, Java and Able; and her daughter-in-law Sara Riggs. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Please note that social distancing measures will be in place, and that it will be required that all visitors wear face coverings while in the building.
