It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Knight of Metcalf, Illinois, born in Paris, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Pugh and Naomi Pugh (Bartlett); her spouse Perle Allen Knight; and her siblings, John Bartlett, Beverly MacNorton, Madge Gill and Nola Jane Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Knight (Kima) of Danville, Jacqueline Holloway (Jim) of Paris and Judy Young (Brad) of Terre Haute, Indiana; her sisters, Loraine Cross of Kokomo, Nancy Kinkead of Crawfordsville, Mary Jo Farley of Crawfordsville, Janet Lehr (Ron) of New Market, Margaret Peebles (David) of Belton, Sue Thomas of Crawfordsville, Donna Poole of Alamogordo and Candy Gray (Greg) of Rockville, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Kacy Waldhoff (Mark) of Champaign, Kelly Knight of Bloomington, Karlee Freeman (Blake) of Bloomington, Leslie Ring (Andy) of Brownsburg, Wade Hendry (Trisha) of Homer, Blake Young (Jenni) of Homer, Brock Young (Sarah) of Rossville and Blair Dosch (T. J.) of Mattoon, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
