It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbur L. Sommer of Metamora, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sommer and Elma Sommer (Bachman); and his daughter-in-law Gresha Sommer. He is survived by: his wife Lynne E. Sommer; his children, Clint Sommer of Metamora and Sherry Wudtke (Lou) of Metamora; and his stepchildren, Joedy Wake (Lori) of Alaska, Kristy Chapman (John) of Texas and Kenneth Wake (Mayumi) of Alaska. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
