She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Kennel and Lina Kennel (Heuscher); her former spouse Generose A. Seckler; her husband Gilbert W. Schierer; her grandchildren, Amy, Ryan Seckler and Todd Linnemann; her son-in-law Gerald Pettyjohn; and her siblings, Jesse, Donald Kennel, Isabel Slonneger and Gertrude Schumacher.
She is survived by: her children, John Seckler (Susie) of Sun City, AZ, Roger Seckler (Judy) of Metamora, Greg Seckler (Darlene) of Metamora, Suzanne Pettyjohn of Metamora, Lonnie Seckler of East Peoria, IL, Jean Beck (Dave) of Bourbonnais, IL, Sandy Linnemann (Steve) of Metamora and David Seckler of Metamora; her stepchildren, Steve Schierer (Mary) of Metamora, Elaine Pemberton of Metamora and Keith Schierer (Diana) of Washington; and her sister-in-law Karen Morgan of Rossville, IL.. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
