He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard W. Johnson and Burletta L. Johnson (Wold); and his daughter Carrie Noar (Johnson) of Roanoke, IL. He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Metamora, IL; his daughter Julie Johnson of Metamora, IL; his brother Ron Johnson (Barb) of Leland, IL; his nephews, Randy Johnson (Lou) of Leland, IL and Brad Johnson of Leland, IL; his niece Amy Spayth (Guy) of Wheaton, IL; his son-in-law Matt Noar of Roanoke, IL; and his stepsons, Kurt Frye (Miranda), Greg Frye (Ashleigh) of McKinney, TX and Jared Frye (Courtney) of Metamora, IL. He is also survived by seven grandkids.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Christian Union Church (925 W Walnut St, Metamora, IL 61548). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Baker Cemetery.
