It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Bardwell of Metamora, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester C. Winkle and Willie Mae Winkle (Tate); her husband William E. "Bill" Bardwell, Jr.; her son Michael Bardwell (Susan); and her brother Bobby Dean Winkle.
She is survived by: her daughter Hope E. Duncan (James) of Germantown, WI; her grandchildren, Cassandra Lisicki (Sam), Luke Duncan, Ian Bardwell and Hayden Bardwell; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Piper and Sully Lisicki; and her sisters, Cathy Hobbs of Arlington, TX. and Marcia Winkle of Arlington, TX..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Illinois Prairie District Public Library, 208 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
