He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Zimmerman and Fannie Yergler Zimmerman; his spouse Madlyn M. Widmer; his son Scott Zimmerman; his son-in-law Steven Hofstetter; and his siblings, Earl, Donald, Roy Zimmerman and Edith Sauder.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Zimmerman (Kathy) of Elmwood, Stan Zimmerman of Metamora and Tamara Lehman (John) of Wolcott, IN; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Joanna, Joseph Zimmerman, Randy Lehman (Brittaney), Luke, Joel, Levi, Nathan Lehman and Takara Frost (Sam); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Jack Lehman; and his siblings, William Zimmerman (Myrna) of Georgia and Mary Bradle (Robert) of Roanoke.
