He is survived by: his children, Tama Schierer of Metamora, IL and Ted Schierer of Metamora, IL; his stepchildren, Karen Elbert (Ted Sundstrom) of Grand Rapids, MI, Dave Elbert (Sue) of Metamora and Ben Elbert (Kim) of Morton, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Jen (Brad), Jake, Mollie (Brian), Laura (Jon), Brett and Kellie (Max); and his wife Juanita.
