He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schick and Matilda "Tillie" Schick (Huber); and his sister Margaret Doidge. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue Adams of Metamora; his children, Diane Pressley (Thomas) of Wheaton, IL and David Schick (Deanna) of Metamora; his grandchildren, Andrew Pressley, Mark Viggers, Daniel Viggers and Cinthia Wabel (Cody); his great grandchildren, Ruby Wabel and Violet Wabel; his nephews, Thomas Doidge and Stephen Doidge (Colleen); and his niece Monica Oakes (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Metamora Food Pantry, 122 West Mt. Vernon Street, Metamora, IL 61548 or the Snyder Village Residents in Need Fund, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
