It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Garber (Metamora, Illinois), who passed away on July 18, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Garber and Emma Garber (Bachman); his son Jim Garber; and his siblings, Harold Garber and Joyce Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth C. Rohman; his children, Connie Grebner (Gene) of Metamora, Brent Garber (Joan) of Metamora, Steve Garber of Marshalltown, IA and Jenifer Garber of Quincy, IL; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Garber-Blake of Germantown Hills.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Christian Union Church, 925 West Walnut Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
