He was predeceased by: his father Richard E. Whitby,; his stepfather Murel Jackson; and his siblings, Roger Whitby, Ronald Whitby and Barbara Whitby.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Whitby, Sr. (Faircloth) of Metamora; his wife Anita A. White of Metamora; his children, Fredrick Whitby of Metamora, Daniel Whitby of Metamora and Jessica Leach (David) of Metamora; his grandchildren, Drake Whitby, Gracie Whitby, Caio Whitby, Carmen Whitby, Isabella Whitby, Jackson Culbertson, Samantha Hilst, Lydia Leach, Solomon Leach, Esther Leach, Kai Leach and Presley Leach; his brothers, Robert Whitby (Susan) of Peoria and Grady Jackson of Metamora; and his pug Rocky.
