He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Alois and Florence Clara Alig (Schierer); his spouse Evaline E. "Ev" Green; and his sister Norma Jean Murphy. He is survived by: his children, R. Wade Alig (Angie) of East Peoria, IL, Brad Alig (Dawn) of Crystal Lake, IL, Vicki Kendrick (Todd) of East Peoria and Melissa Collier (Ryan) of Everett, WA; and his brothers, Roger Alig (Vickie) of Metamora and Dale Alig of Morton, IL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mary's School, 415 West Chatham Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
