Minerva Reeb Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2021, at the age of 97, Minerva Reeb of Metamora, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Bachman and Mattie Bachman (Reeser); her husband John V. Reeb; her sister Ruth Gross; and her stepsiblings, Richard, Allan, Paul Bachman and Eileen Schertz (Garland Martin).
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Hostetler (Raymond) of Eureka, Paul Reeb (Susan) of Metamora, Susan Hovey (Paul) of Lacon and Rollin Reeb (Connie) of Germantown Hills; her siblings, Russel Bachman (Ferne) and Orpha Schertz; her stepbrother John Bachman, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Nel Schertz and Doris Bachman. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gideons International, Snyder Village, or a charity of the donor's choice.
