With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merridy Anne Friederich of Metamora, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Altorfer and Norma Altorfer (Kilgus); her husband Franklin Edward Friederich; and her daughter Valerie Ann Friederich. She is survived by: her sons, Vincent Friederich (Kathie) of Choctow, Victor Friederich (Robin) of Eureka and Van Friederich (Leslie) of Goodfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kristie McDougal (Craig), Valerie Boren (Shawn), Vanna Jones (Cole), Amanda King-Opper (Shawn), Jillian Graves (Brandon), Zachary Friederich (Timmy), Tristan Friederich (Julianna Hotmire) and Luka Friederich; and her brother Thomas Altorfer (Carol). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Snyder Village "Resident in Need Fund" at 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
