We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2018, at the age of 84, Melvin Johnson (Metamora, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Pauline of Metamora; his children, Tadd M. Johnson (Peggy) of Peoria and Elizabeth D. Vancil (Billy) of Metamora; and his grandchildren, Madison, Brody, Allie Vancil and Jacob Johnson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) Illinois Chapter, One North LaSalle Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60602.
