She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ben F. Knoblauch and Mary P. Knoblauch (Meismer); her husband Robert L. Kern; her children, Chuck Kern (Susan) of Metamora, Carolyn Chovan (Don) of Metamora, Bob Kern (Sue) of Morton and Jackie Mason (Tim) of Washington; her brother Donald Knoblauch of Metamora; her sister-in-law Rosemary Knoblauch of Metamora; her daughter Marilyn; and her son-in-law Joe Gartner. She was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
