It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Geraldine McKnight of Metamora, Illinois, born in Benson, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Viets and Edna Viets (Potts); her siblings, Geraldine Debolt, Vernon Viets (Vera Schoepke), Edger and Harold Viets; and her daughter Cynthia.
She is survived by: her children, James J. McKnight (Patte) of DeKalb, IL, Jane Ann Strybis (Charles) of Shelby Township, MI and Jeffrey A. McKnight (Vicki) of Wenona, IL; her brother Marvin Viets of Minonk, IL; her grandchildren, Elissa McKnight, Kelly Cook (Russel), Christina Strybis (Timothy Whitehead), Jason Strybis (Erin) and Christopher McKnight; and her great grandchildren, Anna, Jack and Adam.
